Relationship issues(personal thought)

Posted in Random rant on July 12, 2010 by enigma79

There are many problems out there in the world with people. And all of those are based on relationships, like dating, family, and friendship. No one in this world is the same and many of us make mistakes. Many of us cheat on our loved ones because of sex addictions or because we are bored of them, which is heartless people get caught up in the moment and after it’s over many regret it. Yet why do people do it? they understand how much it would hurt their spouse if they found out and they know how much it would hurt if it happened to them, yet the mind is strong enough to take over just for moments of satisfaction. Love is so overrated, if love is so strong then why can’t it prevent people from hurting someone. I understand many relationships don’t last but why can’t people just break up and end it? So much confusion with relationships, friendships they say relationships don’t last forever but friendship does. Well that’s not true many relationships last but friend doesnt sometimes both end. You can get into a huge fight someone and the friendship ends because of it. Many of you who read this know what I’m talking about cause it’s happened to you or you have seen it happen to someone else. This world needs more honesty and love. I know this world isn’t perfect and that it will never be but just imagine how much impact you can do to someones life just by being nice to them and listening to them when they aren’t heard everyone has feelings, wouldn’t you be hurt if you weren’t heard for trying to express yourself? I don’t know but that’s my random rant for the night

Historic health care bill heads to Obama

Tomorrow President Obama will sign sweeping health care reform legislation into law. The Package of changes to bill still needs Senate approval, but the GOP could delay it. Most Americans will now be required to have health insurance or pay a fine. Larger employers will be required to provide coverage or risk financial penalties. Lifetime coverage limits will be banned, and insurers will be barred from denying coverage based on gender or pre-existing conditions. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Obama’s success was an example of the president’s tenacity. she also said “If you ever doubt the resolve of President Obama to stay with a job, look at what we got done for the United States last night when it came to passing quality affordable health care for everyone,” during a speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

16 Year Old Shoots Parents Over Halo 3

Posted in Ginsberg Classwork on March 22, 2010 by enigma79

On September 2007 Daniel Petric snuck out of his room to go buy Halo 3. Daniel has played the game with his friends behind his parents back, and he decided he wanted his own copy of the game. After he bought it he went home but his parents caught him, they took his game away and locked it up in a safe with a 9mm in it. The parents didn’t allow him to play it because the game is too violent, a month later, on the 20th of October, 2007 Daniel was still upset that they took his game so he took his dads lockbox key and went to get his game but when he opened the box he found his game and the gun. At Mark Petric’s testimony, he said he was sitting on the couch when Daniel came up behind him and said, “Would you guys close your eyes? I have a surprise for you.” they closed their eyes expecting to get something pleasant, suddenly the father felt a numb pain as blood poured out of his head. He later realized that his wife was dead she got shot in the head, arms and her chest. Daniel even tried to frame his dad he put the gun in his hand and told him “Hey Dad, here’s your gun. Take it.”

Ok so I was sitting at home during my spring break and out of no where I thought of a random quote. I was thinking about life and everything like birthdays, and well when you think about it every year you have a birthday which you celebrate but every year it brings you closer to your death.(which is true) so I thought of this quote “life only begins to come to an end.” please comment and share your opinion about what you think .

Cyber Attack Charges: Google vs. China

Posted in Ginsberg Classwork on January 22, 2010 by enigma79

Google says it has been the victim of cyber attacks in China.

Google has threatened to pull out of China, saying that Chinese hackers have targeted Google and up to 34 other companies. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton urged China to investigate such attacks, saying they raised “very serious concerns.” Five years ago, Google agreed to allow some censorship by China, in exchange for the right to operate in that country’s massive emerging technology market. The company now says censorship and the hacking of Chinese dissidents’ Google e-mail accounts have prompted it to reconsider.

India Tightens Air Security

P.N. Sukul, joint secretary for India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation, said the alert was based on intelligence indicating that terror groups were planning an attack involving a flight from a South Asian country. The threat might be aimed at one of the flights operating in a member country of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation or in Myanmar, formerly Burma, he said. The association members besides India are Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Pakistan. In December 1999, hijackers commandeered an Indian airliner with more than 150 passengers, forcing pilots to fly to Kandahar, Afghanistan. It had been flying from Kathmandu, Nepal, to New Delhi.

Haiti Earthquake Update

Another aftershock rocked Haiti on Friday. Buildings shook. People looked around to see what else might fall. Then they returned to what they had been doing.  At a park in the capital that has become a tent city, a group of kids resumed their soccer game.Aftershocks have become a way of life in this devastated country along with so many other life-threatening challenges. The 7.0-magnitude quake was more than 40 times stronger than the 5.9-magnitude aftershock, researchers said. While each new earthquake can slow relief efforts, those efforts were advancing Friday, including at the port, where critical supplies are being shipped in.

Better Airport Security

Passenger checks in at Israel's Ben-Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv.

Well air port security is going to try to make security a lot tighter after someone tried to blow up a plan on Christmas day. Luckily the bomber was stupid and couldn’t set off the bomb, a true miracle because lives did not come to an end on a special day. Isaac Yeffet, the former head of security for El Al has a good idea for security. He says that people are better than machines, he said he knows that machines can malfunction and dangerous weapons can come through. He believes that people should do searches instead of machines because we as humans can feel an object being hidden because we are smart and if we feel an object that they did not pull out of their pockets they know something is going on.

Water Repairs Continue In Downtown Nashville

Posted in Ginsberg Classwork on January 11, 2010 by enigma79

As many of you people have already heard 4 of the water pipes busted in downtown Nashville. Well I want to touch up on this topic to tell people who don’t know much about what happened. on Sunday workers started to repair a 36-inch main pipe on Second Avenue South, which cut off all the water to all the popular spots where people take tours. The other 2 pipes are both 24 inches one is on Broadway and the other water pipe on Second Avenue North. But they can’t fix it the problem is the water is frozen and Nashville isn’t getting warm enough for it to melt.
